She has designed a unique search model which generates impeccable results and has an extraordinary track record of filling searches with her client’s top candidates.
Before founding The Grayson Group, she served as a senior consultant at an international legal search firm focusing on retained partner and corporate counsel searches, and was commended for her track record in winning retained searches.
Previously, Laurie was a civil litigator with significant trial experience with law firms in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles, CA handling a variety of complex cases including copyright and trademark infringement. A Washington D.C. native, she also worked for the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. in The Office of Legal Policy, The Deputy Attorney General’s Office, and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia under The Honorable Henry E. Hudson. Laurie received her J.D. from the George Mason University School of Law where she was President of The Federalist Society and received her B.A. Cum Laude from Rosemont College.

Laurie has lived in San Francisco for almost 20 years and has been active in Bay Area civic affairs including leadership roles in the San Francisco Ballet Auxiliary, The Hamlin School for Girls and the San Francisco Zoo Auxiliary. She brings her passion for community, diversity and a commitment to “give back” to her professional life.
Laurie’s passions also include her three wonderful daughters and a supportive husband, jogging including marathons, avid tennis, reading and laughing.

Natasha joined The Grayson Group in 2011 as a Senior Consultant, leveraging her skills in the legal and business development profession. Before joining The Grayson Group, she served as Regional Business Development Manager for O’Melveny & Myers, where she developed new business for approximately 90 lawyers spanning 11 different practice areas. She helped pitch over 100 current and potential clients and managed a $400,000 annual budget. Natasha planned over 50 events, including the first ever series of women targeted finance industry networking events, the OMM alumni gala at the Legion of Honor with over 300 attendees, and monthly continuing education presentations for corporate counsel in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Over the years at O’Melveny & Myers, she interfaced directly with general counsel of current and potential clients, including Clorox, Oracle, Safeway, Cushman & Wakefield, Apple Computer, Williams-Sonoma, Barclays Global Investors, PG&E;, Del Monte Foods, and Federated Department Stores.
Previously, Natasha was a corporate lawyer, with significant experience in both start-ups as well as multi-national companies and law firms. Natasha was Senior Corporate Counsel at Critical Path, where she advised company managers on general corporate, intellectual property and employment litigation issues for this publicly-traded email infrastructure company. Prior to that she was Corporate Counsel at Warner Bros. in the Business Affairs Department, where she advised Senior VP-level executives on legal issues including equity investments, general corporate, intellectual property licensing and transfer in software, Internet, film, TV, music, animation and photography. Projects ranged from Harry Potter licensing issues to Latin American studio acquisitions. Natasha started her legal career as a Corporate Attorney at Troy & Gould, a boutique M&A; and Finance law firm in Los Angeles, where she represented issuers, principal investors and financial advisors on mergers and acquisitions, initial and secondary public offerings, private financing, reporting under the 33’ and 34’ federal securities acts and state securities laws, and real estate financing, in a variety of industries, including financial services and banking, life sciences, semiconductors, computers, electronics, software, entertainment, and telecommunications. She co-lead various transactions, ranging from $50 million initial public offering of Four Media Company, an entertainment post production company, to multi-million dollar private placement of convertible preferred stock for the largest developer and operator of amusement parks in China. Natasha Co-authored the chapter entitled "Liability Under Federal and State Securities Laws", Advising and Defending Corporate Directors and Officers, Continuing Education of the Bar - California, 1998.
Natasha received her J.D. from the University of Southern California where she was a Hale Moot Court Honors participant and an intern at the Securities and Exchange Commission; she received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. She has lived in San Francisco for 10 years and is very involved in her community, which includes serving as a board member for Children of Shelters and the Ballet Auxiliary. She is also a co-founder of the Environmental Health Organization, French American International School.

E.C is the Chairman of The Grayson Group and is widely recognized as one of the leading headhunters in the industry. E.C. joined The Grayson Group after an esteemed career as a Senior Director at Spencer Stuart, Inc. focusing on CEO, CFO and board searches across multiple industries. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, E.C.’s search experience included three years as the “number one” recruiter in the U.S. for another major international search firm.
After his first successful career in senior management and marketing positions in the pension and insurance industry, E.C. served in the Reagan Administration as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy in the Pentagon. For his service, he received the Distinguished Civilian Service Medal. As a reserve Naval Intelligence Captain, E.C. has broad Washington political and military experience.
E.C. has served in many political positions including head of business groups for Reagan/Bush, finance director of Secretary Donald Rumsfeld’s PAC, and as a co-chair of President George H.W. Bush’s National Finance Committee. He continues to be an active civic leader and has served as chairman of the board of St. Mary’s Medical Center, and on the boards of the San Francisco Retirement System and The Guardsmen.
E.C. received his B.A. from the University of Minnesota where he was the president of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon and president of the inter-fraternity council. E.C. has held faculty positions at The University of California, Berkeley (extension) and at Purdue University (Pension Institute), and received an honorary doctorate in Humane Letters from National University.
E.C. is a member of the Metropolitan Club and the Alfalfa Club, both of Washington, D.C. E.C. and his wife Jean have two children and four amazing granddaughters. E.C. divides his time between Tiburon, CA and Rancho Mirage, CA and is an avid tennis player, swimmer and traveler.
William E. Grayson, Esq. is an experienced lawyer and financial services executive who has served in senior roles in finance, law and government. Bill is a financial advisor with a global asset manager in San Francisco where he advises significant families, individuals, endowments and foundations on the management of their wealth. Previously, Bill was President of Falcon Point Capital, LLC, a SEC registered investment advisor and hedge fund management company. Prior to that, he was a Vice President of J.P. Morgan & Co and of Montgomery Securities (the predecessor to Banc of America Securities). Bill serves as a senior advisor to The Grayson Group.
Before entering the investment business, Bill practiced law for ten years in corporate, law firm and government settings. He was chief legal officer of a global food and vitamin company in Los Angeles, a litigator in a San Francisco law firm, and served as the Principal Deputy General Counsel of the Army in Washington D.C. during the first Bush Administration. While in the Pentagon he had oversight of the Army’s 2700 civilian and military lawyers worldwide and focused on regulatory law, mergers & acquisitions, litigation and defense contracting issues. For his service, he was awarded the Outstanding Civilian Service Medal by the Secretary of the Army.
Bill graduated from St. Ignatius College Preparatory, received his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his law degree from the University of San Francisco. His clerkships include the California Court of Appeals, the United States Attorney’s Office, the General Counsel of the Navy’s Office in Washington D.C., and the District Attorney’s Office. After graduating from law school, Bill spent two years in the legal search business and became the top producer in his search firm.
Bill has served on numerous investment committees including the Archdiocese of San Francisco, the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington D.C. (a division of the Smithsonian Institution) and as a trustee and chairman of Dominican University. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Bay Area Discovery Museum. In 2002, Bill was appointed by President Bush to serve on the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships and in 2008 was nominated to serve on the Internal Revenue Service Oversight Board.
Bill is a regular TV commentator on investing and the markets and frequently speaks at investment conferences worldwide. He is a member of the State Bar of California and passed the Series 7 and 63 securities exams. Bill is a native San Franciscan and resides in the city with his wife Laurie, and their three young daughters. Bill is a member of the Metropolitan Club in Washington, D.C., the Chevy Chase Club in Chevy Chase, MD, the Villa Taverna Club in San Francisco, and the Tiburon Peninsula Club.
